I really need to get out to Dudleys again , there are some bits there I need for the 2 door loooooooooonnnnnnnnnggg term project.

You did well to find some reasonable guard peaks Roger. What is going to happen to the graveyard now that Dudley has passed away?

Since Dudley's passing the relatives have started the clean up.
They are working through the sheds which is a huge task.

There have been a lot of cars sold judging by the spaces in the paddocks. Last weekend about 8 or 9 cars were loaded on trailers and trucks.
Michael are pricing is very fair, though 2 pieces were $10 each.

I'm away next weekend but will be go back to salvage more gear in the near future.

I have the 4 link setup arrive yesterday from Mc Donald Bros.
Layed it out on the floor to get my head around where each bracket goes.
I will to make a couple of plates to weld the cross member to the rails. I was able to cut the diff to size and had the bearing housings turned down to match the diff.
Now all I need is to set it up on the car and weld it in.
Happy days.

I have started on the 4 link and need an extra arm and hand to hold the brackets in place
Set the sedan up on my blocks at full " low " position, got one bracket under the diff using a small scissor jack and then use a block of wood to prop up the front lower bar.
Push and pulled it into line with the view of tack welding, wrong - no room to weld.
So I made more room. Now I can get the to the brackets.
The patches on the floor, were from chassis rails that I did some 20 years back with a gasless mig.

Jeez, no mucking around there…..

Happy to do the templates of the Tri 4 link brackets and the bar sizes.
The McDonald Bros 4 link tri kit cost $1,100 which includes the coil-over lower brackets.
I will need to sort out an upper cross tube and brackets which should be fairly simple.

Engineer has requested photo's of this before I finish weld. Hopefully I will have it all tacked in this week.

If it helps this is mine. I made a custom mount for the two short arms which allowed them to mount centrally above the diff.

For consideration, where you mount the brackets to the chassis rails use a plate first then weld the brackets to that.

It helps spread the load on the relatively thin holden metal, Taz has custom rails so no issue for him.

Your engineer may also request it.

Thanks Taz for the photo's as very bit of info helps when do this for the first time.

You are correct Greg, the engineer has requested I use 3mm plate when I when onto the chassis rails.
I will likely weld the plates on the front upper brackets on the bench then weld the 3mm plates to the rails.
