Holley part number Holley GM LS Engine Swap Retrofit Oil Pan Kit LSX LS1 302-1

There is a muscle car performance one (i think is the name ) but its is bigger. Have a search via google, go on the summit performance parts site and ask for a free catalogue, its has everything in it you could need. There are quite a few mobs in US that are doing bottom mount air con kits that use a sanden min comoressor. I reckon it will fit down on the drivers side front and it appears that there are alternator kits as well.

New floors fabricated and fitted, need to run the through the bead roller, Fire wall next and the the tunnel followed by the boot, so glad i cut out what had been done as the new floor sits flat over the whole floor area, happy days ImageImageImage

So i ended up raising the motor slightly, 10mm so the air con pump had some more clearance at the back of the pump. Also repaired some rust along the top of both seals and fitted the gearbox mount.ImageImageImageImageImage

Right so started running some beads into my floor pans and now have floors pans that are warped and twisted due to the material shrinking where the beads are.

Googled some info and now know that i should had ran the material through a English wheel to stretch the material. This is okay if you have a English wheel!!

I found another youtube clip where the guy marks both sides of the plate and pre-rolls the back of the plate first with the bead roller putting a very small groove in the plate before turning thd plate over to finish the job.

Looks like i had better get the hammer and dolly out to see if i can straighten the plates before going any further.Image

Always good to learn something new. I saw one of those English wheels on gumtree the other day for a couple of hundred.
