Gave the ute tray a bit of a birthday on the weekend very dirty job with the wire wheel and the a once over with the KBS system. Aqua Kleen, Rust Blaster and Rust Seal (same as POR and Aussie made) :D
Fitted the 2 inch lowering blocks to the rear, maybe ½ a coil more on the front.

Patchwork on the fuel tank is OK for now (liquid steel), may make one good tank out of the two as the wagon tank has a good top and a heavily dented bottom.

Got the front rims going to Summerville Engineering on Monday to reset the backspace to 3 ½ inches, should be ready when I get back from work (no more spacers) :)

Cheers

Got given an old side shift shaft, (thanks Jamie) after reading Thommo’s post I made some brackets cleaned up an old crash box and fitted the shifter.

This site is a great source of info, I had to buy the angle so if anyone needs a bit let me know I have a heap left.

Next time home looking at making up a centre shifter will use heavier gauge rod o thick flat.

Cheers

Gazza,

That yellow ute with the flames you've got in the background, If I'm not mistaken it's a burnout ute. I think you bought that from my mate James off eBay?
That must of cost a bomb to send it over from the East coast.

Pretty tuff sounding ute as well.

What plans do you have for it?

Ya got a good eye Scoobb

I bought it of James (I thing that was his name) its a burnout ute.

Sounds very tuff, not to sure on the plans yet, may sell it as I would like to buy EKDV8's sedan. Bought it to race / burnouts ect.

Had the engineer look over it, but it would take a bit of work to register, I have all the bits but no time till the wagon is done.

Cheers
