I thought about a consul but decided in the end not to do it. I will probably regret it as there is no A/C or radio or cup holders etc etc.
Might be short trips only !!!!!

It is actually serving two purposes. Hiding the ECU and wiring for the computer

plus items already mentioned and as the glove box has the AC unit in it I have no other storage etc.

Found a couple of hours to fab up the centre console. Once finished I reckon it will look sweet.

Nice work Taz I'm going to steal a little of your ideas there, I've been struggling trying to figure mine out and it is going to look good mate.

So I was going to go with a electric hand brake but it got all too hard as the Engineer wanted do much information.
So, old school set up it is, and at half the price it makes my wallet feel good. Note that bolts we be changed to domed headed bolts.

So finally received the manifold I intend to run. You can see the difference in size with a 90mm throttle body versus a 75mm throttle body and longer bigger runners.
Not happy that the plug has been cracked out of the throttle body housing. Hopefully a cheap fix is available but I doubt it. Probably easier to go to a aftermarket fly by wire T/B.
Research tells me that by bolting this manifold in I will pick up about 19 HP not bad for $400 truck manifold.
I will make a curved cover that hides housing and fuel rails etc.
Oh anyone know why the photos are so grainy these days? They never use to be like this?

Where did you get the manifold from? Do you have a link for it?
Looks like mine is a bit ahead of yours now haha

Who said mine will be painted LOL. Looks great for an FB
What size wheels you running?
The manifold is a TBSS manifold, they take a 92mm T/B. I sourceded mine through LS Speed shop who are on FB.
You can buy them new for around $200usd but no-one has any stock because they source them from China.
Plenty of videos and info. on the web about them. You can use a fabricated manifold or cast one but I wanted something different, plus they are cheap.

Ok sweet. They are 18x7 on front and 18x10 on the rear they don’t quite work on the car my be changing to something larger on the rear

18x10 and you want larger? Do you mean diameter or width? I was going to go 17" as then I can get a larger wall tyre on the rear
The benefit of the truck manifold is that it moves the T/B up and away from the radiator.
Where is your build thread?

Yea that’s what issue I’ll have with thin intake too. I think wider in width need to fill the tub out on the rear. It’s currently a 285 tyre on the rear

Yes I know, so you better statr one
That is one of the reasons I want 17" rims as then you get the better look from being able to run a higher side wall tyre.
I have the older style truck manifold you can buy for $100 pmus freight. They still out perform the stock LS1 manifold.
