Just remove the bump stops62ekute wrote:I'll probably keep going with the bodywork before I start on the suspension and such; but the ute is sitting on the front bump stops ... so when I saw a company on gumtree selling new springs for a hungie a pair, I picked up these standard height ones

My zorst. There's 20mm clearance. It is handy to be able to drop the gate as these old girls are work horses. Who am I kidding?

yeah, was doing the prep work as soon as it got light ... good temp (20 degrees) and slight breeze to take the overspray over the fence - perfectErrol62 wrote: Mon Dec 07, 2020 3:13 pm Fast work Patrick. Early bourbon i like it.

Re: Gimme 5 years
reading Clay's thread, when he was putting on his mudguard braces, made me realise I didn't buy a complete car after all
had to buy a couple of these

had to buy a couple of these
Re: Gimme 5 years
When I was hooning around in my car in the younger days I had the guards on and off several times for various things, I never knew those parts existed !
I didn't have the braces from the bumper bolt to the bumper iron either.
My car may have been a factory light weight option ??? ha ha.

So many cars so little time!
Re: Gimme 5 years
One of our members had a pair of fibreglass guards for sale. I thought briefly about it but the solidness of these cars is one of the main appeals for me, so no.
