Nice work there Scoob, the pipes are great fun hey !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just noticed that there is no ties between the subframe rails and the body, have you done something else or is it ok as it is ??

Mate, not sure that's how the car came, what is supposed to be there, do you have any pics?
That's the problem with getting an unfinished project.

Scoob,

Sorry I didn't mean to scare you, but on most V8 conversions there is normally a tie point between a fabricated chassis section and the front subframe rails, Its something my Engineer has asked for.

I have seen some cars without it and I just assumed you had something like this.

If it Engineers ok there's nothing to worry about.

I only asked because as you can see by the photo there is no more room for the extractors.

Regards Greg

Greg,

Yeah I have asked people like Pat Gardener and he said I don't need it and I also had my engineer look at it in the early stages of the build and he was fine with it as well.

This is probably because of the style of front end fitted in that photo..
Looks like a Torana cross member, which need a rear mounting point for the frame to attach.

SCOOBB...............I hope ya got plenty of heatsheilding under that foot well carpet
