So finished of rear quaters. Will make the boot sections to rear quater inner panels later in the week. Found the last bit of bog and rust in the dog legs

Finished off the rear quaters inner / boot today. Dog legs next and s bit in the seals and that is all the steel work completed.

What can you do? Find a car that doesn't have rusted doglegs. Nice job. These things take time.

You are lucky your bus wasn't close by as I would had sneaked around with my angle grinder and relieved it of its dog legs

Tassie still has a moat around it thank god. Got a couple here need rebuildingnot to mention the sills.

OMG I got off lightly LOL. All my seals are fine with the rust confined to the dog legs.

Unusual in my experience. Outer sills are practically a given on an original shell. I was lucky with my Ute. Fingers crossed. At least when you replace them you know they're good inside.
