The reason I called it your "long car" is that I didn't want to blurt out what other people have in there sheds, incase you didn't want people to know.
Should have guessed saying "long car" would have pricked the curiosity of most on this forum, Trev 8) .

  Nup......

Too many distractions, one of which is green and looking like it now needs a clutch :x Which means radiator/floor/motor/box out, sump off as someone used a truck clutch with a car sump. Flatheads have different size clutches, 11" requiring a seperate piece on the sump (top part of bellhousing is part of the block in the early ones) so I now have to pull alot out to do a swap.

I still have to rearrange shed space too. Not enough hours in the day, let alone dry ones at the moment. this will be a slow one, its the wife's and there is no real deadline

Hey devilrod if you want mate just ship the "belle" up to me with all the associated parts and i will fix her up all good and proper like and because im a good bloke i will even put 5-10 thousand miles on her to make sure its right for you, hell i will even deliver it to you at Bright if you like. Cause with the wifes new project on the go you are not going to have the time too scratch yourself.

Well done mate, i have no doubt that your new edition will look the business.

Now get out to the shed and start loading the little green car up :D

Cheers Chez

     As much as I know it'd be in good hands I also know you'd have trouble parting with the "belle " a second time...

Bright looks like only a day trip, I used some choice words with the Bright Tourist centre and there 10% price hike each year on accomadation!!! Something about where the sun don't shine....

Paso as a town tried to lay down "their rules" on the event, also factoring in charging the promoters and patrons more and more each year. Last year they said enough is enough and moved it 100 miles down the road to a town happy to have them without charging extra!

Greed, isn't it a wonderful thing!

Good on the organisers for doing it then  .

If I was a Pasodonian or whatever they called themselves then I'd have been content with the tourist dollars an event would bring to the town.

Never look a gift horse in the mouth............
