Here we go again... Swampy the FB Wagon.

Post by Devilrod »

Well I have had a brain lapse and switched to the dark side... Yesterday thanks to Mark (Minifbvan) I finally bought an FB wagon for the wife! This one will be done how she wants it. There will be candy, just not saying how just yet. Driveline specs are looking like all late model running gear as this will become here daily driver. Best of all no real deadline so this is likely to drag on for 5 years or so

So after leaving home at 5:30am and travelling a few hundred odd kays up to Marks we loaded up turned around and came back home. It was an uneventful but long day as it was midnight after we unloaded and I went back to get my car. Any way enough babble, thanks Mark for the good deal on the wagon and also looks like Ratbox for the rear seat too! As for the name Swampy, it came about from a comment my mate made as we were unloading it, it looks like we dragged it from a swamp!

Let the games begin....

Guess where...

Matty it started today, just cleaning up a bit. I really have to clean out my back shed so I can fit the Swampy in first.

Driveline will be VR or VS as recommended by a GMH employee. 6 not 8 looking for good all round driveability.

Nice pickup DR, apart from the obvious, looks like a complete solid start.
Look forward to seeing the build.

a suggestion for you DR...

is the grey seized? if not throw in a battery, some fuel down the carby and see if you can't start Swampy one last time with the old grey...and video the event for posterity. 8)
