it took me years to build my car EK and now
i dont enjoy driving it because the bloody road
up here is shocking wich makes more trafic conjestion
wich means half the time your sitting in the one spot
or hardly moving you might aswell sit in your driveway
with the engine running oh well thats my 2 cents worth
today

PS sorry for the off topic steve

did the roof the other day was a bit to cold really but i was bored and wanted it done it looks ok have to waight and see when cut and buffed, lower colour no dramas as it will be flat anyway and i've still gotta fill the flash holes and won't be getting the paint till AHD weekend

the road works at katoomba'ish, i've lived here for 3 years was prolly looking for 3 months so it's been longer than that
the highway's not that bad  in saying that when i get to the top of Mt vic on the way down it pretty much sucks from there and going home is a big releif once Mt vic is behind me

Hi guys,
Been a while since i posted about this car.
Sill nothing to report, havent been able to fit seat belts yet.. Done nothing but wash and enjoy it.

I may be a wuss, but just cant bring myself to cut into it.

I picked up a set of twins that will also most likely never find there way onto the car either...  But for a 100 clams, rekitted, new linkages, etc you cant go wrong.

Will have to replace a seal in the gearbox soon as she bleeds a bit of fluid when sitting for a few days. but no big deal.

Strog, Gear Box seal? you can alway send it back under warranty & I will be happy to give you a full refund :D

Keep those Twins & Seatbelt away or you may void the Warranty !!!

Well I've gone and done it...

Seat Belts are installed, mod plated and done in a complementary grey colour to suit rest of the interior, Inertia reels in the front and fixed lap sash in the rear. I had them done professionally, money well spent in my opnion as the install is top rate, Really makes car a great family cruiser.

Scratch plates and arm rest pads for the tops of the doors have also been fitted to use up some of the trinkets I have been collecting / chasing and to give the car a little extra "bling".

Next is some professional touch ups on some very old dents and previous touch ups that are a bit sad.. But thats a little while away yet...

Couple of pics. 8) 8) 8) Also a big thank you to Craig, Richard and Kate for their skills in helping me with the shed.!! :D

Gday Strogger,

She sure looks well looked after in that nice clean garage of yours - good work mate.

About the new arm rests ... they look great! Are these original accessories (Nasco?) or were they made up after-market?

Cheers,
Jamie.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Cal, The seat belts supplied, installed, mod plated and engineered, etc cost me just under a grand.
( 2 x Inertia Reels in the front, 2 x Lap Sash and 1 x Center Lap in rear + 2 x child seat anchors. All in Grey.)

Jamie, Arm rest pads are a Wibroc assessory. I dont know whether or not Wibroc sold to Nasco? But seems likley as pads are similar to other styles I've seen. (Seen larger ones that have the special badge on them too.)

I like them because they are functional and fit the "Look" I'm chasing..

 I think Sunnytim ?? mentioned in another post a few weeks back that Wibroc ( and other companies also ) sold to Nasco who then boxed the parts in GMH boxes and onsold them as Nasco.
