Haven’t posted in a while - been busy with work, 4 kids and home renovations!

I am tossing up wether to sell as I’ve just had my third left shoulder operation in 4 years and I am finding it hard to drive.
Have a lot of pain and reduced mobility in the shoulder/arm and the manual is painful to drive🤦

The whole idea of me getting her was to drive her and it’s just not happening.

Trying to figure out if I do sell what’s best way - don’t want to deal with dick heads 😜 and they seem to be everywhere at the moment

Also prices seem to be all over the place....some (most) seem unrealistically high or have prices increased dramatically

Car isn’t a show car and needs a few things to finish up (one of the door locks decided not to work the other day ... but it’s all minor)

Paint and rust repairs done by Jay
All mechanical work done by Frank Tedesco and it drives really well - he did suspension, brakes, drive shaft, electrical, steering column pretty much everything (spent over $10k getting her mechanically in top shape)
I have ordered and paid for full interior from a stitch in time (I have been waiting for over 18 months) hopefully that will be ready in the next couple of months (cost over $5k)
A lot of accessories etc

I know a car is only worth what someone will pay but what is a reasonable ball park figure????

Will be sad to see her go but just weighing up options

After that much effort, it would be a shame to sell it.

Change to Hydramatic to give your arm a rest?

Cheers,
Harv

Would be a pity to sell damo, but $20-30k seems to be the range for a tidy driver these days.

Shame yo have to sell mate - hope the shoulder improves - If you do have to sell see if Frank tedesco would do a report for you - they have a great rep in the community so it would mean a lot more than any inspection - consider an auction house also as they are getting good prices lately also - good luck - it’s certainly an eye catcher

So I made the mistake of listing the car on Facebook for a quick sale
Already regretting it as the amount of idiots is astounding
So many time wasters and people expecting to pay nothing for the car
I have been told that the car is not an FB by several experts and that it is fact an EK 🤦 - when I tried to point out it was in fact a FB to one gentleman he told me I didn’t know what I was talking about as he knows Holden’s.
It’s only been listed one day and I am already thinking of pulling the listing as I can’t handle dickheads 😂

The old girl sold to a holden "collector" who has 16 cars and she is going into storage

Sold within 2 days - but..... so many time wasters who contacted me,
People offered ridiculous money ranging from $10k - $15k,
Rude people who got the shits when I wouldn't take less than the asking price,
So many after it to flip it and make a quick profit
Dealing with people like that really made it difficult

Was sad to see her go and missing it more than I thought, will probably start looking for another one next year hopefully the shoulder improves to a point where I can drive one without pain, or may even look for an automatic

Congrats on the sale - At least the new owner can see you have done the right thing by the old girl - credit to you.
