Yeah, it will take a while to get in and get settled, tomorrow i have to take a trailer to shepp and pick up my Daihatsu parts car (For parts for my Home-Business car, (Must work for money for the Ute)), Welder, Compressor, Workbench-on-wheels, Couches. that will be fun.

Eurrrrrgh, this again. for the third time now we have a list, but i guess because no one will believe a Computer Technician, OR a FEMALE mechanic... here's a small preview, this list is an unfinished list as we wont know more UNTIL we are in the NEW HOUSE, with the ute in THE SHED, instead of 30KM away in Berrigan. This list is a list of buggered parts and/or things needed, parts highlighted in green are bits we have either fixed already or have sourced good ones....



BUT on a different note, the list is SUSPENDED until we are moved in to the new house. kind of hard to work on a ute while trying to move EVERYTHING from one house to another within a week.

so list is currently:
Move everything into new house.
Unpack Everything
Hire trailer, Pick up FJ.
use the same trailer to also transport FB to new house after the FJ.
THEN resume working on the ute.

That's a great set-up you guys have got into there. I remember reading earlier that there was no loan to buy it as well (which is an awesome bonus).

Now, have I mentioned - I really think you need a list and a plan

We do have plans! the plans just had to be changed or adapted while dealing with real estate.

We did not anticipate Daniels sister choosing to sell the house in Shepparton where Daniel was living so we had to change our plans to accomodate that, FB was moved to Berrigan into Mums shed as temp storage we've gone through purchased a house with our own shed where the FB will be moved to PERMANENTLY where dismantling will be finished and rust repairs will begin, actually since we've been fiddling around all that's left to be taken out of the car since we have taken all the panels and doors off and taken the windows out all that's left body wise is the plenum chamber and the subframe but then I don't need to tell you guys how to dismantle a car for rust repairs.

it's a good feeling when the R/E asks do you have to arange finance and you answer no we have the cash especially when you look like a bum like me

Mefb wasn't getting cranky at you it was in repsonse to deadsleds comment and previous comments about there being no plan, in fact we are going to Ballarat swap meet next weekend to pick up a trans hump and few other bits and pieces from rustydungers.

Must say the ute looks pretty sad at the moment without her interior trim, doors and windscreen she's just begging to be worked on I reckon at the rate we've worked on it if we hadn't needed to move it from shep we'd be half finished by now.

The again the FJ even though we haven't touched it yet is looking just as sad.

Hard to know which is the biggest project. Still, I guess there's no rush.

the fj has the more rust than the fb the j will be the bigger project

Plan now gets a new addition to it, Fix guttering over the extension on the house, as Rain inside the house is never a good thing.
Buggered if i know how the Builders Inspection missed a fist size hole in a rusty section of gutter that allows water to leak into the roof space - then into the lounge room.
