Gimme 5 years
Re: Gimme 5 years
Thanks for rummaging Clay
Re: Gimme 5 years
by the way, when I had my seatbelt stuff out, I had another look at those old top mounts, I'm pretty sure they are not 'bits of angle that have been threaded' but rather, they are bolts cut lengthwise and bent
I didn't take another photo, but here's the same one with some changes to brightness and contrast

Re: Gimme 5 years
Those split and angled bolts were common in the day as seat belt top fastenings. Cheers, Fraze
Re: Gimme 5 years
We had a planned power outage today, so I got out the cordless drill and drilled out the pop rivets holding a piece of tin onto the passenger side floor.
I've seen worse and was tempted (momentarily) to make my own patch but drove around to Speedspares instead
... a bit ahead of myself again - gotta do the sills first.
I probably should have parked somewhere that gets some of our minimal sunshine

Re: Gimme 5 years
He’s got some dipshit stuff. I got a powerglide shift indicator quadrant from him recently. Don’t know where he gets it all.
