Quick update, finally finished the radiator install today (been long term project)

Trimmed the water pump shaft and now have 12 mm clearance happy days.

Sized up all the rings on the small block also assembly next week. Thoughts are black block alloy heads with light blue engine bay (same as wagon)

Started making a new bracket for the mini alternator will post pics soon

Hey Gaz did you knotch the rails to get the radiator in???
Any other pics of the support would be handy as I'm doing the same soon, but ill be going on the other side of the support I reckon.
What type of radiator is it? I've looked at Desert Cooler, early mustang, HQ-Z, custom jobs ect ect and reckon I've come up with a good one thats around 620x460x55 plus 65mm for the thermos.
Anyone else done one in front of the suppport that can give me any tips??
I might end up boxing around the fron of the radiator yet...... dunno

Good work Garry, The water pump is allways a worry but hey it does fit !!!!!

Doller, have a look at my post (chev EK) its similar to Gary's. I had the radiator made up years ago 5 core copper just to stay cool.

Started to assemble the 350 toady with the help of a good mate.

Rotating assembly and cam complete, paint tomorrow morning and then heads ect. (don't want paint on the ally heads)

How good is “Plasti Gauge”

Will post pics of completed job.

Cheers J

Gave the 350 a blast with a VHT Black, sat the rest of the motor parts on.

Still have to torque the heads, dial the cam and measure the rods

Cant wait to fire it up. :D
