If only you could print it out and onto the driveway...
I reckon we should egg Ratbox on with this one - if he can V8 the van in a weekend , then this one should be right for Yamba

Ratbox played around with the same idea of a roadster pickup, even printed out some pics and photoshopped the old fashioned way with a pair of scissors
.
But you'd be better off chopping up a ute into a roadster pickup, rather than a van, especially
your van.
Just my humble opinion.

In the late 50's a guy in America converted a md 50's Oldsmobile Hard Top into a ute that is basically like what you are thinking of.
Have emailed Scotty some photos of it for him to post.
But his email is not working properly at the moment, so it may be a couple of days before these can be seen

There was one at AHD brisvegas '06. It was an FE or FC sedan with ute tub grafted on the back and it sat on a HX 2 tonner duel axle chassis. I think it was a Bash car and had wiper squirters on each corner and sirens on the roof.
Cheers Theo Z............
PS. someone might have a pic of it. I missed out on a pic, I saw it as it was leaving.

Thats a huge effort, not keen of the top of the door frame being square, would of looked much better if he utilised the rear door frame. Or gave it a rounder look.
Still trying to work out if he used a sedan or if he modied a ute or wagon as the base. Maybe the owner can shed some light.

guess what i'm going to look at tomorrow
