Ordered the tonneau and gave you a plug Neil. I don’t think they should charge you any extra as they advertised standard fitment, not that I said that to the old fella. Very good to deal with. $283 with 19 lift a dot posts and eyes, shipped. They’re not doing the bows currently but I’ll make one up from some mild bar. Better get painting.

Hey Patrick,62ekute wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2020 8:08 pm Does everyone with a ute have a tonneau cover? If so what have you found to be easy to throw back? what looks good? do you also have something to tie down loads?
Patrick
To tie a load down i have used stainless steel bolts as per below. I have two bolts that go through the timber floor. Underneath there is a steel plate with a nut welded in place. Then I have two more forward of the wheel arches again with steel plates underneath. The eye bolts can easily be removed once the lock nut is loosened. I use these to tie my bike down which weighs around 400 pounds. The electric winch under the parcel shelf pulls my bike up into the back.
Regards
Stephen

Yes I'm happy with it. I don't have any pics at present as my bike is still parked in the ute. I need the shed space for another job that's been on the go.

Hey Daz
It's a 1950 AJS 500cc (model 18S) single cylinder. I have a 500cc Matchless as well.
