i've driven a wide variety of them from good con old engines to fresh recoed to worn out to one with a rod hanging out the side of the block :shock: for about 30k's in traffic :shock: :shock: :oops: :lol: even a couple of hotties but don't like them for the exact same reason you mentioned you changed yors they don't suit my driving habbits/style/conditions :wink: once again so nobdy gets confused i'm not knocking them if that's what you want good on you :)

yes you never know if you don't give it a go my chopped 2 door had a good hotty grey rebuilt bottom end cam head twins extractors 4 speed but it still did nothing for me if i hadn't sold the car it'de have got a red put in it 8)

Great news Mick, I went and got an electric dizzy out of a VK ($50) and the performance is more like the 186 now :D :D :D .
Must have been dodgy points or something to do with the stock dizzy :roll: .

as with haveing driven many grey motors in many different bodies i've driven many many reds in many many variations and mostly if you didn't know what was under the bonnet you generally couldn't pick one from the other, so thought there must have been something behind it :wink:
