Will I have been trying to figure out what accelerator pedal to use and I note that from the photo you have a stadard commodore one fitted, I was also trying to use the same one but it blocks the handbrake hole.

Can you tell me if you just put a hole through the accelerator mounting plate for the handbrake to go through or cut a piece out; love a photo if you have one.

Again Sorry Taz

Neil
Hi FireKraka,

I don't have anything set up yet. You looking at the right post?

Not sure this is a good idea or not. Bloody pain to get the fluid topped up Image. I guess it gives more room in the engine bay.ImageImageImage

Nice work there Taz,

I've seen people rig up the speaker grill with hinges so they can get access to the reservoir.

Your build is looking good, just a question what size is the LS you are using ?

Regards Greg

Yes speaker grill will be used for access. The engine is a 5.3L LS motor, cast iron block but essentially exactly the same as a LS1.

So i am fitting up a cable operated wiper but needed to mount the shafts in the orginal spot. Nothing that a bit of work on the lathe couldn't solve ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Great work Taz. Getting the stock blades to stay on the screen at speed has always been my biggest challenge with the factory wipers. The most effective solution to date I’ve found is Rainex.

Use rainex and no need for wipers ImageImage
