Fiddy Customs in Mandurah to the rescue (again) with the altenator
Will have a look at Gasmans set up and fit up; then its a tidy up & paint on the engine bay.
Oh and stencils for Figers & others.

Is the small 4y style alternator a simple two wire hookup similar to the hz holdens? cheers.

Its a single wire very easy to wire up
Down side is its only 5o amp no good for doof doof, suits me fine

Picked up the mini alternator yesterday, nice surprise its 100 amp, will need some minor bracket alterations but should be OK.
Thanks Dave & Harv for the responses, this site certainly makes things easier,
Hopefully some serious shed time next break, then start building the 350, have been staring at the go fast bits to long
Bob will catch up for a beer next run

The 4 Y's are off Toyota's they are only 50 amp, the Hot Rod ones are 110 amp. and about $ 100 dearer.

thanks gazz for the stencils, got them today. I get my engine back next week so they,ll come in very handy
Once you made the rotisserie, how did you get the car up on it? how many people does it take to turn it?

I can turn it by my self I can send the dimensions if ya want cost me roughly $300
I used an engine crane and 4 ton ratchet straps to hold it, slow and steady
Very simple really, mine is off the the twirler this week
Have a look at my picks Ya could trim the extractor holes up a bit? Cut them smaller at first.
