cheers Scotty,i came close to putting a fin on the bootlid,very close.Its getting to the point where I have to remember where I put all the bits haha
3 house moves etc...one lloooooonnnnggg project,im in no rush,busy,unmotivated and lazy...
cant wait to finish wiring it up and starting it ,and marking my shed floor with skinny black lines and oil.
The kids want me to take them to school in it,tommorrow :shock: :shock:

don't get me to do your hoodlining,i suck at it ,oh well only pretty girls and handsome men will see it,from the back seat :wink:
just worked out the front lights properly,had to cut down some retaining rings as they were to deep,all sorted
ill have to use the FJ grill
the front screen is great and rubber etc..
got a quote 3 days ago for a new windscreen fitted $500...
will fit it myself,what rear rubber should I use? or has anyoneone got one to go?

I don't mind canted quads, but this looks even better. You've got the proportions of those headlights and grill spot-on - looks like a well-thought out 60's custom, rather than something cobbled together after too many beers (at least IMHO).

Get a hair dryer on to the creases, a bit of gentle heat should get rid of most of it.

That car looks realy cool. It has really come to life with a bit of colour on it. Headlinings give me the horrors so I feel your headlining pain, but can offer no help. My FB headlining was unstitched (original hard as a brick) and a motor trimmer up the road restiched it and fitted it for me. We both had high hopes, but it ended up pretty average. My advice, don't look up, ever, just straight ahead, and all will be cool.
