NoMAD's Kustom FB Sedan
Given Scotty's reason run of kustom-awesome-ness he got me thinking at work today about my front indicators...
as some of you may know im planning on using Caddy tail lights for front indicators... however they do stick out a little far when mounted to the standard indicator mount.
Also i have a whole car to chrome, and with the price of that at the moment i'm not looking forward to it!
so i thought of maybe frenching them in a bit with similar mounts to SputzwagonII... what do you guys think for location? (i hope you dont mind Scotty, since they will look different)
Cheers

I did just that to the ute last night - made some brackets that bolt to the original holes , its not finished yet - needs painting and I have ordered some expanded mesh to keep the grasshoppers out of the radiator
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Go for it NoMAD!
You could also use a tube welded then painted the same colour as the body to the inner grill area as well...do as I do and play with all sorts of things lying around and don't forget to look in places like 'bargain shops' for things that can make good shapes.
Scotty.

Nice work Blacky... i didnt think i would see anything kustom on this ute... you have probably just annoyed some people but i think its sweet i want to see more, had also thought of using perforated steel for the backing of a custom grille since i'll be using some for my kick panels.
and yeah i like the idea of the tube Scotty, would like to give it a mild frenching, since they have a base lip that would suit a piece of pipe with a 3"NB
hmmm looks like i have some bad sketching to do! maybe i'll just do it in CAD
cheers

Theres a few changes on the ute Nomad , but they are all completely reversible , thats why I left the grille mounts on the guards and the caddy lights are on brackets - saves drilling any holes or buggering anything up , I could put this car back to stock in an afternoon .
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.
