Very neat - well done.
Sad thing is that with the quality of this mod, many outsiders won't "see" it as not being original equipment - but to the rest of us, every little issue addressed is appreciated.
Please post a pic when it's in - like to see where your "stick" ends up.

Seeing that the photos Scotty posted are no longer here, I am putting these on to show where the shifter was moved to.
And the adapter that lets you put the OZ 4 speed behind a gray motor and bolt up the side mounts

Smooth, where could i get one of these kits? Or is it a one off jobbie?
I have a mate building a VK who (hopefully) won't need the 4 speed anymore, so i was looking at bolting that up to my grey.
How much would I be looking at and what sort of things need to be changed/modified etc?

Check ebay under "Grey motor"theres a jap 5 speed with adapter etc to suit a grey.Just looked ,no one has bid yet starting price is $300.
Just another option 8)

hmmm i guess it is an option yes...doesn't bother me whether i have 4 or 5 gears anyway, just don't want the 3 speed crash box or an auto. Thanks mick ill check it out

was that the one painted metallic blue listed for an FJ?
If i were to find something that suited an FX-FC would it still fit an EK grey?
