finally started stripping down the EK roller I scored for $800 a while back so I can use some panels on my good EK that was in an accident. A panelbeater who is helping me mentioned that the fenders had an odd shape down behind the wheel arch, as you can see by the photos I found out why. Ex owner obviously didnt like the flutes. Mind you who ever fitted them wasnt to interested in doing a good job so I dont blame him for bogging it up. The rest of the photos are just me pulling things down. This is my first go at this so Im just taking my time and bag n tagging everything as I go.
Havin a ball doing it to I might add.
Steve Jackson if you happen to read this the last photo is of the compliance plate, so any details on the car would be good. If you want the photo shifted over to the proper thread please let me know and I will post it there. Reckon the car may have been some type of metallic blue in its hey day judging by the paint spray inside the guard where the headlight fits.
i was going to say the same thing about the seats, as thats pretty much how i was eventually going to get mine apolstered (mine don't need reapolstering yet so i'll leave it till they do.
cheers, luke.
Thanks for the comments everyone, its people like you that make us rookies know where goin in the right direction on a rebuild when we purchase stuff. . I will eventually be offering up parts to you good folk on our site but for the time being I'm going through using what I need for my EK to get her lookin better. Will let yooos know what and when parts will be available.
The only thing I'm wondering about is the FB vent? It's an EK on the compliance plate!...Nice score there Pops...I'd fix it up and stick a hottie Red in it!
Scotty.

Thanks for the photo Blacky that will go into my FB/EK picture folder I've created. And I think your right she's pretty thick with bog particularly round the back end. Im hoping to start stripping paint & bog from the door and fenders over the next week so crossing fingers theres enough metal to work with.
