Hi guys. Got stuck into the FB project earlier this year after lots of work on the house. Reskinned the doors and then went on a quick break.
When I have finished off tiling the bathroom I want to learn Lead Wiping from a friend so that I can finish the FB off in style. I wish I had 48 hours every day.

There were a good deal of them sold here, but nowhere as many as in their home country. So many have gone missing along the way. I bought and wrecked a few rusted out FB's over the years, for parts. I can cry when I look back at a few in yards that have gone to the crusher. I do know of a few on the roads too.
We are lucky to have these two, the turquoise one I did the trip with has 75 000 miles on and is original un-restored. The red one will see the road as soon as I can get it done.
I have been offered another FB that is quiet nice, but how many cars does one person need? We also have the EH and two HR's

Alastair, maybe you can paint your FB in the Springbok colours?
Seriously, some pics of your FB out on the veld at sunset would be awesome.
