Holden EK 225 Hydra Snowcrest White Tartan Turquoise

Post by Aussie Bob »

I have been selling off a few cars for some new acquisitions. Here is one of the cars we have added to the collection. I will place up pics of some of the other new additions when I can.

This one smells like new inside, seats, switches, handbrake, everything feels new! Original 32,433 miles. Factory paint Snowcrest White with Tartan Turquoise Lid.

1961 - Purchased new 10th August 1961 at Williams Motor Co Pty Ltd Currie Street Nambour QLD. Sold To Mr Leslie Gordon Whalley, Netherton St. Nambour.

1985 - The EK came up for sale at the at the Brisbane International Motor Show (RNA Show-grounds) 13th Feb 1985. The EK had 11,800 miles. One of the original ALD FB-EK founding Club members purchased the car - Frank Edwards 3 Janet ST. Margate QLD

2003 Frank's Daughter advertised the car in 2003 with 28,888 miles. The car found a home in Forbes. Athol Smith was tghe lucky man. Athol kept the car in the same immaculate condition as the EK's previous owners and the car traveled only 3,000 miles four years to 31,700 miles

2007 - The car was advertised in Just Cars in 2007. The last owner Grahame Edden traveled only 700 miles in the two years Grahame owned the car. The car has alway been garaged and stayed dry.

2009 - Grahame Edden of Medowie decided to look for a home for the EK. The Jackson's are thrilled and honored to add this amazing car to our collection.

Steve,

I'm starting to think you have a time machine and you go back to the 60s and buy these cars.

If you do, do you hire the machine out.

Nice Cars.
