Hi Blacky, she's fine mate. Other than a new starter and some new license plates I haven't touched her. Can't believe it's been a year since I took her off your hands!

I take her out normally once a week if the weather's fine, no problems, lot's of compliments, loving it. Best money I ever spent :)

I've chucked some pics onto photobucket if you (or anyone else) want to take a look

Cheers Ken, I can only take credit for contacting Blacky at the right time and handing over the cash, I love EK's but I could never do what most of the guys on this forum do and build cars like this, probably not a good idea to ask me too many detailed questions as I'm likely to embarrass myself and get it wrong.

It's a VP commodore V6 and auto gbox, mods include a HR front end with HQ brakes on the front and commodore brakes on the rear. Has a VN commodore radiator, VN fuel tank and filler neck, hence the black plastic fuel cap.

I'm sure Blacky will let us know if I got it wrong. He did a great job of making into a great driver. Here's the thread he posted if you want to see some of it's history and the work he did

Sounds sweet, never driven one with a V6 commo motor but i reckon it'd be awesome. Would be the way i'd go if i went away from the red for sure.

She certainly looks the goods in all the pics Brett, are you going to the hotrod show nextweekend? or the midwest show late sept?
would love to see it.
