Swirl Marks/Scratches

Post by Cal »

I decided to give the EK a polish today, as the paint was starting to look a bit dull.

I bought some Kitten Cream Cut and Polish No.2. What a mistake that was

I did the whole left hand side of the car, in the shade. When I moved it out to the sun the whole side has terrible swirl marks, bordering on scratches. The shine wasnt even any better.

Ther car has what looks like original paint, so this sort of polish shouldn't have affected it like that.

Is there anything I can do to fix it, or have I f*^#@* it?

Someone told me to try some of that Mothers Scratch Remover.... :?

either try that or maguiers scratch X, i've used it on pretty bad scratches, then finished it off with maguiers next generation or gold class and it came up a treat.
