Does anyone know the correct positioning for a set of interior door pull handles on an FB front & rear - I've checked out various cars over the past few months and they seem to be in lots of different places.

Door Pull Handles
Hi Cammo
I do not think there is a correct or factory specified position. Im guessing they were a aftermarket option and placed by various dealerships/owners in various places. My rears are central to the window (the up and down one) and slighly forward of central on the front. Check out pictures in Steve Jackson's threads, as he owns most of the country's orig FB's

There's no correct or factory specified position as they were aftermarket accessory but in my humble opinion the front should be mounted more rearward than centre & same for the back doors as there's kinetically less effort shutting the doors than centre or more towards the front.
Cammo haven't seen a dark blue/white MG sprite soft top buzzing around Tamworth have you - a guy from Bankwest bought it off me a while ago (he may have moved on or repainted it of course)

The only reason for time is so everything dosen't happen at once.

Agree with kinetic theory blue ute
but find that mounting them slightly forward of centre in the front does not foul with your shoulder when giving the final pull with the left hand across your body. With the weight of the front doors more rear any way they are pretty easy to shut. I do agree with the rears though as the kids tend to get both hands on them and pull the door of the hinges
so a little rear of centre in the back would make it easier to shut.
