EH sump and pick up
EH sump and pick up
I am after a EH sump and pick up for my red 202. I live close to brisbane so i would prefer to pick up or meet half way. I need the sump to fit the red 202 to my ek with a HR front end. Anyone have one i know where to get one ?

since im using a HR front end could just use a HR sump and pick? If anyone knows any other way i can make it fit without spending heaps and heaps of money that would be great.

I'm led to believe a HR one won't fit and a Monaro HK/T/G one definitely doesn't fit (don't ask how I know, it was close but not quite).SPL camry wrote:since im using a HR front end could just use a HR sump and pick? Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.
I will just stick to a sump that all you people know fit's and that is a EH sump.

H/KTG will fit but not sure of the full details of how to do it, but that IS the sump that was on the red 6 that was in the van before the V8 swapDevilrod wrote:I'm led to believe a HR one won't fit and a Monaro HK/T/G one definitely doesn't fit (don't ask how I know, it was close but not quite).SPL camry wrote:since im using a HR front end could just use a HR sump and pick? There is a rare spares guy on the southside of Brisvegas that is also a old holden reaker. I got mine from him at christmas time for a reasonable price, now I don't remember what he is called but the sunnys might know who I am talking about..... If you have no luck I can dig through my paper work and find out the number for you.....
Whatever....:(
Maybe it has something to do with where the engine mounts are positioned? Or height, It was close to fitting but not quite. Hit the crossmember. But that was also when I still had stock tunnel and 3 speed crashie.ratbox wrote:H/KTG will fit but not sure of the full details of how to do it, but that IS the sump that was on the red 6 that was in the van before the V8 swap

sorry spl don't think the H/KTG sump is the one for you as there will be some tampering involved, all i know is it came out of a van i had so the engine mounts will have to be set in the correct place and there may be some steering mods involved
do you know that unless the HR front you get has previously been fitted to a FB/EK with a red motor you have to move the engine mounts
