Performance upgrades for red 202
Reconditioning an original head won't get you any horsepower gains ( unless your orig head is losing compression then obviously recoing will give you more power, but only up to what a reco standard head will give ).
I'd be buying and recoing a Yella Terra head if it needs it rather than recoing a standard head.
Ring Theo on the number he gave you.

I can't think what to write here so this will do.

Too many variables to give a definative answer. It will depend on what condition the head is in and who does the work and what they charge.
Easiest and cheapest is a quick clean up and valve grind/lapping up to a complete rebuild with new valves, seats, guides, head machined etc.

. I hope they will do me a good price considiring i am going to buy a 350 carby and full exhaust set-up lol . But hey hopefully i can get it done cheap enough i can still buy pertrol for the commo.

Much better choices than that, I ran an Edelbrock 500 4 Barrel Carb. Primaries are 250cfm then part Vac and part mechanical secondaries. Outperform any 350 holley and very low maintenance. One gasket easy to adjust.
Although I think what you want and what your budget will allow are two entirely different things. Get it running, keeping it simple to start with then when cash allows build a motor for it. Don't cut corners because cash is tight as in the end it will cost you twice as much when it fails.

Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.
Thank's for the advice devilrod. il take that into account of what stuff i want to do the engine.
Well i have sat down with my next door neighbour and we have came up with these parts
Better plugs and leads
Extactors and a 2 and a quarter inch system
If theo Z head is in good condition i will going a Wade Cam
spectre pod filter and adaptor to fit holley 350
get a new coil pack
That is i would like to do to the enigine now.
I would rather stick to holley as i can get a good deal on the standard 350. But i would really like to get the racing 350 one
