Thanks Blacky, but apparently the "triangulated" 4 link is not as good for what I want to do with it and usually the triangulated bars are the top bars on the 4 link.Blacky wrote:Why couldnt you run a diagonal with the lower bars of your 4 link ? - that will give you back your clearance for your pipes

I have done the prefit on the Booster and master cylinder, Brake pedal has been moved to the centre of the "firewall to dash" brace so I have plenty of clearance on the bonnet hinges, in the "final-final" fit (after some $##%$&*) ... it is now closer to the hinge.
I have "peened" the metal on the brace so there is no contact with the top of the pedal shaft:

Modified:

Also made up the mounts for the Torana "outriggers", welded nut to 6mm doubler plate and closed the "outrigger mount" in with plate to make it look neater:

External view:

Internal view, clearance has been allowed for between the "new mount" and the outrigger mount for the polyurethane bush that will be fitted:

Also changed the Powerglide pan to increase ground clearance:

And prefit check on the polished S/S uni joints and 3/4" DD intermediate steering shaft:
