Took the old girl down the strip with the old mans Vette a couple of weeks ago, photo's attached. Had never gone down the strip before, was great fun, did it as a birthday pressie for the old man, more for the experience and a photo op than anything else.
For the record, and I bet you'll never believe me, the Vette did just happen to slighty nudge me over the line, by about 5 seconds!!!!!!

21, but I was being very light on with it, she ain't no drag car, and it's my daily ride, so I didn't want to break anything. I was taking it easy of the line, gave it a fair boot through 2nd and 3rd, hit 4th then backed off. I think it was 21 something at 100 the first go, and 20.5 at 110 the second. From that, if I went for it, I think the best she'd do would be about a mid to high 18.

I will be parking cars at Big Al's, helping out the guys who run it. So I can get my car in, (I have to be there 9:30 though) and park all ya'll with me. So Andrew wont be there, Gordon sold his (when did this happen!?), and yer my car may not even make it...
