RB the panel work was done by a guy who lives next door. Ex panel beater/sprayer who only does a bit of private work on the side.
Normally works for an old guy up the road who collects old chevys
so saving a fortune there. Bottom of the gaurd is all new. welded
a whole new section in and looks strange as the holes for the bolts
havent been drilled yet. Harko couldnt agree more mate, when you
see what the gaurds were like (rust in all four corners all of which has been cut out and all new sections welded in) its great to see them
ready.
And yeah hardly ever fall over sober with them toes, also saves
my back a bit of trouble cause theyre great for picking stuff up that i drop on the floor

sorry sammy theres no tranny tunnell thats the top of the left fender. Hole is for the aerial. I must have taken that photo at a bloody strange angle. Just went to see my panel beater and one of the doors is nearly done and looks good, he must be getting annoyed with me going over every ten minutes but i cant help myself

sorry sammy i see what youre talking about now bit slow on the uptake today. dont know what the hole is about, even done it dodgy they just drilled heaps of holes in a circle then beat it out. good patch job though had a square cut out of an old castrol drum and just put some screws through it and threw around some silicone around. Quality craftsmanship there
quick update on whats happening. bugger all really as the rains been holding up play most weekends but the engine is on the stand and waiting for a rebuild, picked up twin strombergs today just got to find a manifold to suit now so if anyone out there has one ill be happy to take it off your hands. Get back the last of the doors this weekend so then on to the shell for the real rust repairs. Will post picks when i get a chance

well its all been happening here the last couple of weekends. Had Rob the panel beater over flat out and finally been making good progress. Only got a small shed so pushed the car hard up against one side and have finished the other bar primer filler which is happening tomorrow then wheel it out and turn it around
all under the rear side window had to be cut out and replaced

All new dogleg

And the quarter panel was pretty much gone

Big thanks to rob the panel beater (the guy in the picture) an absolute magician with a grinder and welder. Start again tomorrow so will post more pics when more things happen
