So, the 327, T350 and stally are in. Picking up new tailshaft next week. Next is wiring loom, fit the rest of the brakes and work out the fuel tank and filler, then...we might get some paint on and try and get vanning again....

That little 327 looks tough .
I am liking this aproach way better than a 6 banger ,but 2 questions.
Didnt you have to get rid of your last van because it was a van ?
And who's car is that in your avatar someone elses ?

Very nice SCK !!! Now I understand why you sold off the other one !!

Please keep the pics coming mate !! What colour are you going in the van? Is that a CRS lower alternator bracket ? did it fit well or did u need to modify the lower rails to get the alternator so low ? Does it effect the rack-n-pinion (hard to tell from the pic).

Keeping the demon spacer ? Will the cleaner penertrate the bonnet ?

Sorry for all the questions but doing very similar atm with my one, the engine is just about to go in .........

Yes, I am liking this approach better than the 6 banger also Harko...it was one of the reasons I was able to let the other van go, which I have done, and replaced with a 5 seater (sbc as well) so now I can have my cake and eat it! It is one tuff little 327..looking forward to starting it more than you know!!

Yes Mate, I need to change my avatar, it is someone elses car now (just letting go now mate!)

Mephious,

Yes, this is the only reason I was able to sell off the other van mate. I needed something for the kids to fit in and I was of the opinion if I had 2 vans and one was a hot 202 and the other a hot 327, one of them would get neglected (no prizes there  )

The alternator bracket is aftermarket, but not CRS..am still playing with it, it clears R&P but way too tight to subframe for my liking, so I may opt to move it up yet...

I want to keep the 2inch Spacer with the Demon, but if I do, will have some bonnet penetration, which I like to a certain extent (smooth shotgun scoop springs to mind), but it was not in the original plan in my head of how the car would look, so may go down to a 1" yet, which will (just) slip under, but allow me to use the 100 flute bonnet....

Will keep pics coming as I progress,

Cheers,
SCK
