Alan Barton, the main organizer has had companies in America calling up trying to get involved in the event. The record number of people buying tickets last year was 900 people, this year it was 1400 adults (under 16's free).
Here is a bit of a run though of what I got up to on the day - I am quite the amateur photographer and have been practicing tilted shots. So if your neck hurts after this dont say I didnt warn you

This was the first thing you saw when you came through the gate, I believe it was built in the 70's and after being retired it sat in a shed for ages. Until it was restored to its former glory - they still do demo's in it.
There were some cool cars inside - not real but models. You would be suprised as to how much detail they go to. They chop the roofs and everything

mad max commodore

After a few laps of the room inside, and a scan for the slightest possibility of hot girls my age (unfortunatly there wernt
Hot Rods

This is AB's (the organiser's) 28 &*#@, he started building it when he was around my age - or before and this was when hot rods werent even allowed to be rego'd in W.A

Later in the day I heard kids say this was a lamboghini murcleargo(or whateva the plastic p.o.s is called) simply cos its yellow

Well I cant be bothered ordering them into hot rods, customs and classics so here is just photos in the order I took them in.
