stub axels, are HR & LH the same

Hi does any body know if HR stub axels are the same as LH torana :?:

no they are differnt, i try'd to use LH stub axles on a hr crossmember and the angles were all wrong! i use hq stubs :D

you can use LH stub axles but you'll need to get the frontend aligned to suit, the amount of shims you have to put into the upper control arm is pretty fair, but i have had in on an EK and EH with lh front discs and they were great brakes!

i'd tend to go for the HQ stubs though and HQ brakes as tyres are strarting to get rare for the smaller old holden rims!

yes you can use them but they are not very good as mentioned re: wheel alignment if yor in the sydney area and go to all holden day swap meet i'll be there and have some HR stubs with crappy discs but you can buy new rotors for about $90 a pair if that helps

and dont forget if you do use Torana Stubs the offest will change increasing wheel track
