EK Wagon in NZ
EK Wagon in NZ
Hi everyone,
Thought I would post a pic of my 'new' car. Had an FB then an EK sedan 12 years ago, both were rusty and beyond my budget. Bought EK on a NZ auction site when I was living in UK, sight unseen. Waited 6 months to move back here and then collected her from 8 years dry storage. Un-registered and no WOF, NZD$2000 later and I could drive her home. 60,000 original miles...will keep all original. Daily driver currently 500 miles per week..so far no hassles.
cheers,
Andrew

Hi Andrew Welcome to the forum and what a great looking set of wheels, it looks like Garrison grey and pigeon grey colour combo the same as my very first EK! hehe
does it have the red and silver trim?
Cheers

Hoping everyone is finding my new Avatar less "Distracting" and of course it is not directed at anyone or anything either currently living or deceased, hopefully it may just be allowed to remain!

Nah, Not from QLD,it's been a local owned car all its life.Same colors as Andews wagon and has the red/silver interior. Was a little old ladys car until she passed away then spent a few years in the weather until I bought it.In good nick with 82000 miles but needs restoration due to the time spent outdoors before I purchased it.
Too good to wreck but not good enough to drive as is.No plans to sell at present but who knows?
Terry.
