Pretty sure you can get paint for painting globes, just use standard ones and paint `em.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Matty, I'd go with combo 2. It's all about the colours for me :D :D . Creates that diffence to highlight the chrome and the car. Depends it you want something that is just different.

also the extended trim has been taken off and the holes have been filled & repainted now...

NOW...question time!!!!

can i see other people pics of where this join in the stainless is... as i'm n ot happy with the way it looks...
Image

also in the above pic you can sort of see how the rubbers are buldging out from behind the door, also what are some good tip that you guys have found to getting all the gaps around the doors to be the same...

i'm looking for the rubbers that seal this 1/4vent window shut & what are they called... also what colour have you guys painted the inside of this frame...
Image

is this where this rubber is supposed to go...
Image

and the last LITTLE problem is that the back door window on both sides will only go up 3/4 of the way up... (its the last 1/4 thats goig to be frustrating when its raining)... any tips, when the window is fully wound down as far ast the winder will wind the glass is flush with the door...

matty not having such pleasure in owning a wagon yet, i cant help with most of your questions... but the quater window frames in mine were cleaned up from the surface rust and spayed with matt black enamel paint (tyical two dollar shop stuff). The full frame does not show once inserted into the car, as the door gaps and rubber cover it. The section that does show is the upright bar that the quater looks onto. Mine are still the original black on the inside and original grey/black on outside. Make sure you reput the chrome clip for the window lock back on. Rare spares, bill thompson or who ever you get your rubbers from should have them rubbers within their kits, otherwise should know what your talking about.

The tail gate rubber looks to be in the right section too (from memory its been six months since we sprayed andrews wagon). The ehs if same are in that location too.

Overall loving the thread, am waiting to see her in real metal soon, maybe a club run or future show. Its all down hill from here, just a lot of time now being fussy and getting stuff on right. Keep up the progress champion.

Oh and the door rubbers are never made perfect, it depends on what angle you insert them. You may be able to twist the to suit, but dont lose sleep over it, i have not seen them fit 100% unless they are the original ones. Playing with them may get them closer.

Hey Matty have you tried swapping the window winders on back doors because you mite have them upside down also the front and back are different lengths, hope this helps. :)

i think mozza has hit the nail on the head, even the door handles are different in terms of pin sizes.
