Excellent interior shots you put in too! That is definately Mark's (ekv8ute's) interior, have seen other shots of it and reconised it straight away. It's a beauty..as are the others. Gotta love those pearl steering wheels huh?

I'm not going to be much help here, I'm afraid.
I haven't decided on what I am going to do with mine - its current state has evolved since the mid '70's - I have no idea what it will end up like.
I have fitted my gauges into a floor mounted console (unfinished) and have become used to changing focus from sub dash to windscreen over the years.
I do very much like what Malcolm has done with his gauges - you may wish to look at his build.
Pinklady has extended the binacle of the instrument cluster to include gauges - another option would be to "cut" into the dash speaker and crate a "panel" for gauges - I have considered all these, but do not want to destroy my dash................ auxiliary gauges and FB/EK's are not a "simple" proposition.....................probably the easiest model I have seen to fit them to is EJ/EH............. we don't get it "easy" like they do.......so a little bit of cunning (like Malcolm's) is called for..............
As for your radio - technology is moving so fast, we have now left tape players long behind - I recall "8 track" stereo players to be the rage when I was much younger - then along came cassette then CD - we are fast moving towards units which do not have moving parts - all the time, units are getting smaller yet have more functions........ your answer to this issue will afford you very little needed space for the functions you require.............. I feel glove boxes (although gloves are seldom worn any more) provide a usable compartment for the day to day articles used whilst on the road - fitting head units and such to this compartment is clever, but at a cost.............. save your coupons and invest in something which affords most functions and requires minimal footprint............ under the choke/wiper area of the dash is probably my intended position, when I can find a unit which will nestle in with little identifaction but ease of access.................. it hasn't come yet - it will........
The warma-ride you have is The purpose built heater for our models - it works very, very well. I have one in mine and will not intefere with it by restricting any output.
I note that Matty has a "universal" type heater which must be fan driven - I feel there will be issues if it is mounted under the fresh air ventilator - I had one of these (from and FC I raided) and just got used to running the fan all the time I wanted heat or demist............. the filled holes are still in the pass side floor. I did try to fit it under the ventilator but found the hose connections interfered and become obstructed by the bell-housing.........
I expect you are asking of the dash? - there have been manym many variations on upholstery, some which come to mind are Malcolm's, John's (oldnek) and Wayne Jackson's new acquisition (Marine Blue).........
As for mine, undecided - I want original, but also buckets.............. guess that's where decision making has stalled...................
Good luck with your choice - shows are an excellent opportunity for you to gain information and consider options .................

When you say you are un-decided about buckets or bench seats..i am the same but with moving gauges/radio to glove box OR maybe putting in a centre console. You see we'd like to tidy her up a bit and still have some sort of compartment for tissues, coins ect.
I love KC the way she is but at the same time want her to be pratical & personalize her to suit us as we are intended on keeping her for a very very long time & is my daily driver.
I'm thinking the glove box idea to hide gauges & radio might be best and for storage for little things, tissues/coins ect just stop buying handbags that don't fit anything and get a decent size bag for all that...lol
The console idea only came from our friend who has an EK sedan (might be in street machine soon, will let you know) who custom made a console that looks like it's always been there. He is a panel beater/sprayer and did such a nice job with his EK that the console looks like it's been there since 1962 and doesn't look out of place at all.
For us though, I think the glove box might be the go and just get a bigger handbag for other stuff.

That reminds me, will have to go thru the boxes in the garage and find my mexican rug, as the nanna rug isn't wide enough for both our bottoms

Really have to ditch the little granny blanket and all other blankets here are on beds or for dogs

Devilrod...was wondering if the corner part of seat was over or underneath the rug. Keeps it even more in place being on the outside of rug, I imagine. Not much movement then.
