ok get this, i'm organised to fly up to the goldcoast for a surf & catch up with a mate then hit byron to catch up with another mate then down to the nationals... so there i am driving along marine parade when all of a sudden the roads are block off... i'm like what the f#*K!!!!

but then i see glipses of custom machinery....

so i skipped the surf at byron & stayed at snapper then checked out what wintersun had to offer...

anyway its started to rain & every one started to run off in there cars, so i when for a quick surf at angourie...





then it was back to byron for a beer & some dinner at the beach hotel...

Mate where do you start? There are so many cars that i would love to have ib my garage, starting with the Chevy Nomad.

Been telling my wife i want to go to Wintersun next year. This post has just confirmed it.

the red caddy belongs to a guy i know he parked it there friday arvo and i don't think it moved, and the flat blue chopped merc is little micks, that's a kool car to krooze in
first time i've been lots of nice cars heaps of freeks 60 - 80 year olds that think they're 18 i'de say there must have nearly been a world shortage of hair dye and other hair product in the weeks leading up to wintersun

some nice pictures there man, but if you are talkin about those blue wagons that you say you like then they are xk, xl, xm and xp falcons my mate owns a really nice one. and that thing that looks like a sled reminds me of a 48 dodge that i owned a while ago, do you no wot it was.

linch'... yeah its definately worth it, as there are some great cars there even just driving around...
DR... i thought you may like that interior shot for some ideas to compliment the lace dash...
RB... hey mate, those cars you mention where sweet rides, especially that blue merc... hey waht about the oldies... i was spinning out at all the oldies who were trying to fit into their old outfits, also the hair dye & spray... (somebody should of lit a match... WOOF, up in smoke)
EKJAY... hey mate angourie was the best of the a bad day surf wise... 2-3foot fun little waves 10 blokes out so enough waves for everyone... (i had never been there before, i definatley be going back though..soon), the pics are fine on my end... let me know if you want i can email them...

Sounds like you had a killer weekend and this was the unexpected cherry on top!
Love that yellow & white FB wagon - I reckon I have seen it in Street Machine in coverage of a previous Wintersun.
If you like the old Falc wagons, have you seen the yellow XK wagon that was in Street Machine sometime last year? It was decked out with Moon gear and dumped on its guts.. It's the current months picture on my SM calendar, I'll see if I can get some pics up for ya...
