I'm not looking forward to painting it. I'm just really worried that I will stuff it up. We have painted a 1949 prefect in our garage before, and that turned out ok, but it was in acrylic, and I want to paint 2k this time. I'm thinking a respray of the doors, guards, quaters and sills are what it needs, so its almost a full respray. Anyone know any painters who could lend a hand for $$? I am tempted to take it to TAFE and ask them if they are interested in helping out. Any ideas anyone? I don't have big bucks to spend, and am happy to give it a go after learning abit more

Got a panel beater mate who might be able to do it at paint cost price. Will have to wait and see. He himself doesn't do paint, only panel, but the other guys who he works with do great work spraying cars which I have seen, so I am really hoping that they will be keen to work on my car

EK JAY SINCE 1990
The problem is the car is already done in 2k so I wanted to keep it uniform. I can't see any point in repainting every panel when it doesn't need it. I am game to give it a go, but am really scared of getting an orange peel finish
Your picture does inspire me though Jay. It is a classic weekend warrior pic, I might have to send it into SM magazine

Guess what I'm rolling on.....
15x6 and 15x7 Hopsters with no rubbing
205 60 15 and 185 55 15 rubber is the shizzle
But I have lost 10x center cap bolts somewhere and 'nings don't have any, so I will have to try and order some from a fastener store of some type.
But I am ecstatic, this moment has taken a long time to happen!!
