Hemis right to reply

WOW I can't believe this has been locked, why and by whom?
I do beleive I have a right to reply;

Firstly and mostly Thankyou for all the support.

I don't get on forums very often and only had this brought to my attention by a PM.

To anyone offended by this picture just remember, it was a picture taken by me (not a photographer) hidden away in a shed on another forum and was never meant for a front page.

Simone is a sweet educated exotic dancer for an upmarket gentlemans club, not some skanky pub stripper.

She is wearing a G string, no different to what you see on a beach here in SA.
The photoshot was nothing like what i had in mind, but if you were paid to have your car in a magazine or calendar, go with the flow!!!

I was surprised by some comments, given I thought they were my friends.

Hi Hemi,

The thread was locked because the moderators of the Forum received a complaint about the image from a member of the Forum.

The thread was locked by me with the agreement from Rosco and Thommo and the thread has since been removed.

Everyone has different views of what is offensive/distasteful etc. As moderators we have the job of trying to cater to everyone.

The locking and removal of the thread was in no way meant to attack or criticise you personally.

some people need to lighten up here there was no nude parts showing and i dont see why with 1 complant that it gets locked who ever complaned needs to get out more

It seems a bit extreme to remove a thread on the complaint of one person.

Wasnt me either! wasnt as if it was nude!! then they would have something to whinge about

I supported the pic in all ways i could.. but didnt work:( bugger

Might even pm hemi for the pic so i cant put it on my slideshow

If a complaint is received then the moderators of the site have a duty to respond to it.

What a crock. What a shame that you would think that. It seems to me that you are having a go at the Moderators of this Forum for doing their job? No need to answer that question...

It seems a sad state of affairs when people in this country buckle under pressure from the minority. I thought that we as Australians stand up for our own rights and not bow down to so called do gooders who take great pride in trying to "protect us from ourselves". We get enough of this crap from politicians allready without getting it from our own "members".
Let me be the judge who knows whats good for me and not someone who gets up on a soap box and sprouts off about what they think is right or wrong for me!

so Bill correct me if I'm wrong...you believe...that for the FB EK Holden Forum it is appropriate that...

Every forum member is entitled to their own opinion and you must respect that freedom of speech even if the content is of a racial, violent, sexual or abusive in nature. Pictures of a similar nature will also be allowed. Moderators are not required to receive and act on complaints by Forum members.
