Gingin Car day Sunday 18th May

Post by Dave »

FB/EK friends,
Seeing as its such a beautiful weekend here in Perth, I thought if anyone was wondering where they could go for a cruise tomorrow, try Gingin.
They have their annual Brithish Car day which attracts about 5000 people to the town. Heaps of old cars to look at and my band is playing outside from 11am till about 3.30pm.
I'll be taking my EK ute and parking it near the band tent, see if it drags anyone away from the british cars. They have the normal food stalls & market stalls all set in a nice park. I went a few years ago and it was a good family day. Free too.

Ben, shame I didnt catch you. Fairly relaxing day, weather was great. How many cars were there? Must have been hundreds I reckon.
Sorry, no photos guys, the camera on my 6 week old samsung D900 phone has decided to pack it in. Never been dropped or knocked. Wouldnt recommend this phone obviously. The old ute got a bit of attention on the day and it was the first time I have used it to transport band equipment, certainly fits a lot more gear in it than my navara dual cab ute.
