Y frame repairs

Post by paroharo »

Hi everyone,
Has anyone out there got photos of rust repairs to their Y-frames or fabrication of new frames altogether?
This is something I will need to tackle soon so any visual help would be appreciated.
Also the crossmember that the Y-frames are bolted to approx. under the front seat is rusted out - anyone got any pics of repairs or fabrication of this?
Thanks for having a look!

A few pics etc. under 'My FB EK' on my post called 'My Special Toy" for the crossmember. Fun job that one I'm 2/3 of the way there
My 6yr old daughter said
"Dad your car's looking great! Which end is the front?"
