For some reason Australia seems to embrace American Nostalgia and not our own!!! Says he with an American styled Hot Rod

I've had many an argument with ASRF members over this same topic, until they aknolwedge Aussie vehicles I won't be a member. One of my biggest topics to rant about, but I won't now :P
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.

Here, here...Im with you DR 8)
More should be done for our own heratige.
My FB was built with exactly that in mind, using all vintage aussie speed equipment in a mid 60's style.
The panel van is getting the same treatment this time in 70's style.

Eddie Thomas, Norm Beechey, Ronnie Harrop and a host of others deserve more recignition than they recieve.

There really needs to be a motorsport museum in Australia.

that's my point exactly when i refer to hot rodders  it's not all of you just alot of them, they're so far up 'em selves
even the ones that lower themselves to own an old holden try to keep it a secret
and most of them hardly ever drive there hot rods/american cars and they drive around in late model commodores and such

Being employed in the immediate area I feel there may be a chance of an 'out of work experience' for ol' Brown Bear round lunch tomorrow
