Bushy, Blacky has a Ute roof in EK MART over here that I gave him it was completely straight from memory

Today I pressure washed all underneath and into all the holes etc in the frames, sills, etc until the water ran clear. It's now drip drying on the hoist in the shed.
I think I should have waited until late spring/ summer as I think it will take a long time to dry out.
Any one got a set of handbrake cables they don't need and a finned rear drum?

Are your plans to restore the Ute back to original or do some upgrades? Will the Ute keep the old grey motor & crash box?

Handbrake cable is available new repro not that dear if I recall. You probably know this but drums are interchangeable front rear and you can also use EJ EH as well as HD HR rear if that is any help. I had a bunch of drums but I offloaded them a while ago to other forum members.

I would get some compressed air on the job to speed up drying out.

Plans are to get it running with original engine and box then as time permits to upgrade and modify. Will only have a straight six in it in our ownership and possibly go to auto trans, though I would prefer 5 speed manual, but it's not my ute!
