Hi Jay,
I must be the only one on this site who can't weld....................

What did you use for your brace/arch? - looks well fitted from your pic.

Hi Rosco
the welding was done by my dad,
but i can weld ive just been to busy
packing up house and garage
so he did this so i can get it to the engineers
before i move down south ,the brace arch
was made buy welding together some strap metal
this way it is easy to bend it to shape then weld them
together and there strong as

Thanks Jay,
I spent weeks fabricating my arch - most of it grinding..............

I have learned of many alternatives to what I did from this site - some of which I will commit to the mental library for future use - I liked Blacky's idea and would probably go a little further and duplicate the bar then add side pieces to create the box section - gotta luv this forum for advice..........

frats,
Rosco

ps- will you still be at your current loc when we stroll through in June?

Sure Jay,

Don't know if you want to join us from the Blue Mountains, bit of a way to come across to the Newell................. another group in our club will be running the Hume - keep you posted on their plan..................
