SA Club weekend run 2025

Saturday morning four cars trundled on down to Victor Harbor and checked out a few cars at the Rock’n’Roll festival.

Nice quiet lunch at the Crown, then trundled via Waitpinga Beach to motel at Second Valley.





Stopped at the HMAS Hobart memorial to catch the sunset. A tad brisk, Anne and Mike Flynn.



Yankalilla pub for a nice parmy and roast, then we celebrated Anne’s birthday with cake back at the motel.

Morris got a 2.2 boxer and frequents the local shows. Bike mirrors and immaculately finished. Sorry, no pics. Elle and I stayed in this cottage 40 years ago. Currently undergoing renovation.


Decent rain over night.

Met local identity Smithy who is 81, Holden lover, started two local surf lifesaving clubs and still surfing locally. Ex-cop and publican and friend of my old mate Tim. On his way on a half hour walk to the beach for a dip, which he does daily.

We drove








Then to brunch at One Little Sister cafe st Normanville.

I have them on the rattler, but I don't think I have ever seen them on the drivers side before .....
