Yeah - we are staying just around the corner from it , I said to Shahni when we saw the building "it might have been an asylum once upon a time" and I wasn't far wrong - it was a Sanitarium

More sightseeing today, walked through Warburton and along the river then off to a couple of lookouts and forest walks

Then off to a gin distillery- didn’t know there was a dirt section on the way- this seems to happen to us every year



Had a bit of a scare when we got back onto the bitumen, the ute was making a horrible scraping noise, I thought it was the front left brake but when I jacked it up and gave it a spin it sounded fine - turned out there was a big stick jammed underneath and it was dragging on the road - had to stop at a pub on the way back to settle me nerves one thing I noticed was the front brakes were hot , the left rear was warm and the right rear was stone cold , when I get to my mates in Stratford I plan on doing an oil change and will have a look at the brakes as well

Off to Philip Island today , found a couple of interesting things on the way


Then booked into our digs for the night and sampled a refreshing beverage

Off to a winery then the penguin parade with 4 million Chinese tourists and 3 million Indian tourists- they certainly know how to charge in this place - $14 for a snag in a bun !!

Waiting for the sun to go down so we can look at smelly little penguins ….. then back to the pub



Off to Wonthaggi in the morning to catch up with Trev then to Stratford tomorrow afternoon catch up with Craig Allardyce

Caught up with Trev yesterday for a cuppa and a chat plus a look through his shed



He sold the sedan delivery 5 months ago and the bloke hasn’t picked it up yet. ……
