Wheatbelt wander weekend

Post by Blacky »

We all met up at Muzz Buzz in Midland - I ended up bringing the Chev as the ute was leaking coolant and I didn’t want to risk it ….

Got about an hour in and Neil managed to hit something on the road and punctured his transmission cooler so back to York for some transmission fluid - took 4 litres

Back on the road , bit of a fire

Mmmm, the Holden god at work? :grinnn: maybe a few litres of coolant would be cheaper than a few tyres? :half: get all your bad car luck out of the way on this trip, looks like good weather, have a better last half of your wander.
A place for everything and everything in it's place, just can't remember where that place is.

Yup - 3 in one day is a personal best - worst? - for me
We eventually got to the museum at Merredin, missed the one At Cunderdin entirely…..

Wow,

Stale doughnuts or just poor quality chinkanese ingredients ?

I hope the old girl didn't sustain any damage paint wise. Looks like a great day cruising none the less.

Old tyres mate , they were 12-13 years old , Bridgestone on the front and Kelly’s on the back - the spare was ANCIENT - was in the car when I bought it in 2011 and it was bloody old then ImageImage

A little bit of paint damage but the paint on this is pretty crook anyway, was painted in 1986 ................

Went out to the railway dam, this was used to supply water for the steam trains back in the day - they built a low wall all the way around a bloody great rock then the rainwater is funneled along the waterway into the dam
